DESCRIPTION:
Grants to school districts to allow community schools to expand mental health services and capacity of community school programs.Ìý Grants shall support inclusion of mental health activities in wrap-around services, improving school climate, combating bullying or school violence, and promotion of social-emotional learning. Grants shall be awarded to school districts for community schools identified by the commissioner of education as candidates for improving school climate or mental health supports, subject to the approval of the director of the budget.
